The Grindstone Trail Marker - Panorama created from five photos using Autostitch
Sarah and I have uploaded our Landscape and Wildlife photos from our Colorado Trail trek. We made this trek with a group from
Colorado Mountain Expeditions out of Durango. The hike was about 75 miles over 5 days, from Molas Pass down into Durango. Our days went like this: Day 1 ~3,000 ft gain and 20 miles, Day 2 1,500 ft gain and 11 miles, Day 3 “Rest Day” only 6 miles, Day 4 ~3,500 ft gain and 18 miles, Day 5 4,000 ft drop and 18 miles.
The trek was awesome, with all kinds of terrain, great food, all kinds of wildlife, and ALL kinds of weather. Sarah and I were pleasantly surprised that everyone in our group of 14 was really nice, came from interesting backgrounds with great stories, and liked and respected each other and the outdoors.
Here are a few of our favorite photos:

Sarah and I returned from our Colorado trip recently, we are still tired and sore, but we had a blast! Thanks to our family and new friends for making this such a great trip. We have started going through our hundreds and hundreds of photos and will post them as we get things sorted out. We’ve pulled out all the photos of our friends and family and posted them in the gallery here at Reefpix, and on Smugmug - a photo sales website. Check back often, as we’ll continue posting photos, including some nature and wildlife photos, as well as some photos from the Great Sand Dunes National Park.

Here are a few samples from the friends and family gallery.
