Underwater Photoshoot with Planet Funk

On Friday evening, Sarah and I had the privelege of photographing the CEO and Directors of famed Houston dance troupe Planet Funk. It was quite an experience! We worked in CEO Shawn Welling’s small lap pool, which was difficult, however we still managed to make some memorable photos for these fine folks. I’ll post a few of my favorites, and then a few of my favorite photos, taken by Sarah. She’ll have to pick her own herself! :-) Click a photo to be taken to the complete gallery.

We made these photographs using Canon 5D cameras, dual strobes on the housings, and a pair of slaved Ikelite SS400’s sometimes underwater and sometimes above water. Hope you enjoy!
