Sarah and I just returned from a vacation in a small town South of Cancun called Puerto Morelos. We spent time with family, did a lot of walking, went snorkeling, fishing, and swimming. I’ve taken lots of photos but thought I would start with the shots from the verdant Cenote Verde just east of town.

When we arrived at the Cenote, it was thronged with tourists from a nearby cruise ship, but they left within a few minutes and we had the place to ourselves.

I photographed Dance Houston’s Winter Formal last friday for our friend and director of Dance Houston Andrea Cody. The photos are posted on Smugmug so please share and I hope you enjoy them. Photographing this show was awesome - this was the first time I got to see Andrea dance in one of her programs.

For anyone who likes sushi, sport fishing, or diving, here are some photos of yellowfin tuna taken 20 miles offshore in West Africa. This is the first time I’ve ever seen tuna just swimming lazily on the surface - usually they are charging into schools of baitfish or jumping out of the water in hot pursuit of flying fish. These guys in the photos were between 30 and 50 lbs. You may not be able to see the fish in these thumbnails, so click through for the bigger version.
